From its earliest collections in 2000 to the opening of its gemstone gallery in 2003 at 71B5 Hàng Trống, Hoàn Kiếm, Hanoi, PTRuby has continuously innovated, transforming natural stones into works of art.

With a strong focus on natural Vietnamese gemstones, especially Ruby and Sapphire, PTRuby offers a diverse range of collections, including seals, hand-carved sculptures, gemstone paintings, fine jewelry, and gemstone bracelets crafted from minerals sourced both in Vietnam and around the world.

The story of Phương Thanh Ruby began with Dương Kim Thanh, whose passion for gemstones was inspired by his older brother, a professional in Vietnam’s mining industry. Captivated early on by the extraordinary beauty of Vietnamese Ruby, Sapphire, and Spinel, Kim Thanh embarked on a journey to explore the vast world of minerals.

Driven by curiosity and a deep appreciation for authenticity, Kim Thanh devoted himself to continuous learning, research, and experimentation. Beyond the scientific and energetic values of gemstones from a Western perspective, his journey expanded into the profound philosophy of Eastern feng shui. Through years of dedicated exploration, a deep understanding of both the symbolic meaning and the spiritual beauty of gemstones gradually took shape.
